July 12, 2008 - 8AM - YARD SALE - Dalmatian Rescue of Southwest Virginia will be having a yard sale at the home of Bill and Trish Lewis on July 12th at 2502 Rosalind Avenue SW in Roanoke starting at 8 AM. May 24, 2008 10AM - Holdren's Country Store: Dalmatian Rescue along with The Roanoke Valley Horse Rescue had a great time making new fiends, bringing in much needed donations and even finding new homes for a few of the animals in our care. We want to thank all of our sponsors, supporters and the people who came out to spend the day with us.
We also wanted to thank the folks at Holdren's Country Store for opening the hearts and store for us. Also a huge thank you to Judy Bailey and Anna Gill for putting 500% at the concession stand, they really worked hard to keep everyone fed and refreshed. Also Thanks to 106.1 The Bull for all the advertising and for coming out and having fun with us. And we can not thank Dave's Moonwalk and their employees enough for the Mechanical Bull and the loads of fun we all had with them.
Thank you Teresa Walton & Lois Paulson for your many hours of hard work and for driving 5 hours to come and help us.
Our second annual Holdren's event was the best ever. We can not wait to do it next year. Hope to see you there.

All of us at Dalmatian Rescue of Southwest Virginia would like to thank our Sponsors, Volunteers, Bike Riders, Boaters, Friends and Family for making our Poker Run a successful event. While the weather didn’t cooperate with us, keeping away some riders, we think everyone who attended had a great time. Our rescue made a profit of over $500 and we are very happy with our first attempt at this type of event. A special thank you to Michele Moseley for organizing our Poker Run and for all the effort to obtain the great items we had for prizes and raffles. We have some wonderful, generous sponsors and we appreciate all of you very much. Hope to see you at next year’s Poker Run!
